It's only my opinion , but I still kinda like these Regina hollow pin chains .

And Hey Wayne , I didn't realize that those saddles were heavier than the competing saddles . But if you are serious about weight savings , there sure are some interesting choices in light-weight saddles . Plus , there seem to be an awful lot of Fiamme Ergal Yellow Label rims available right now . . .

For what it's worth , I can personally attest to the fact that when I first tried one of these chains on my Ron Cooper , it actually FELT very light when pedaling . I can't comment directly on shifting , as I changed the freewheel also . But , it didn't shift too badly . It was slightly finicky . But not too bad .

I had no idea that they had become collector's items , until much , much too late .

I wish I'd bought a small stash of them when Bike Nashbar & others were selling them off cheap !

Just another example of "shoulda woulda coulda" .

And I still wish I had a titanium chain to look at and play with . Although those were NEVER on sale cheap !

oh well . . .
