As someone that's less enamored with Masi than most on the list, Masi style as a general term for concave seat stay plugs or caps makes me grimace. As has been pointed out by others, there's many versions of the concave seat stay and Masi is but one example. While Masi generally executed this aspect well and had there own look, it's not one that I really like. There, I said it. I'm not fond of the Masi seat stay look but I really like concave seat stay caps and plugs and use them on my frames. I'd be less than pleased if someone used the term Masi style seat stays to describe the look of their Goodrich frame's seat stays. How about the use of Masi style seat stays remain restricted to Masi?
