On the subject of 1930s indexing, I'm trying to put back together a Suisse 3 spd w/ Super Champ index Osgear. It was missing the drop handlebars and the brake levers, but otherwise appears original and all there. I'm guessing it's from the mid-30s. It has "Super Leger" F. Boehm alloy hubs, super lightweight wood filled rims, and Weinmann Steel Super Sport calipers.
2 Questions: 1. Anyone know if Weinmann made Chrome Steel Race levers in the 30s? 2. The stem is a generic rusty steel, would AVA or Pivo be PC for a bike from this era?
