I received a call today from my cycling club's administrator mentioning they had a call from an elderly former member who had a Moulton he'd be interested in unloading. Could any of the CR members who have an interest in Moulton's please email me off-list? I've always been interested in Moulton's but have not a clue what are the pertinent questions to ask (what wears out, things to check for) and how to determine what a fair value for the bike might be.
I've not yet called the gentleman, so I don't know the model or the year, but I just wanted to get a bit of info before calling so as to not waste any of the gentleman's time. Hopefully after I have a chat with him I can ask better questions of those list members who might be willing to help.
