There were no Paramounts used in the Classics or Tours in the 60s and 70s.
Even if an American rider would have gone to Europe and turned Pro, they
would have ended up with whatever bike their team used. Jack Simes and John
VanDeVelde rode Paramounts in the 6 day races in Europe. Actually Schwinn
was almost an unknown brand in Europe since there was no distribution in that
era.
