"Carbolite" tubing appeared in mid-80's Peugeot catalogs. Not carbon fibre, but cheap gas-pipe tubing on low end models. The "Carbo" was probably for carbon steel and the "lite" was wishful thinking. Frames using this tubing may be OK beaters but not collectable.

Opinions vary on Helicomatics - I like them, Sheldon doesn't.
