Now we are getting somewhere. I'd like to know more about this "stress relieving" aspect of lug design. The esthetics being a personal thing, are there any good design reasons for the "ornate" style? I prefer clean lines myself, but if there are sound reasons for going more decorative I'm listening. Richard (more interested in real quality than who cut / cast what) Rose (Toledo, Ohio)
