Jan- I ask this about your "one Singer with those lugs" because I've always felt the look was beautiful and often wondered why there are no investment cast lugs with the same detail. As an aside, with the one and only Holland frame that I made with Nervex lugs, I laid some brass on the "crease" which pleased the hell out of me, and Robert--the customer. A few exceptions, where bikes were built with what I call "Italian-style" lugs. These don't have the same shape as Singer lugs. I have seen one Singer with those lugs. Why do you ask? A particular bike? Jan And on the Singers, when you look at the lug surfaces, is the joint noticeable as a crease in the lug, or is the surface a larger radius all around?- Joe Jan Heine <heine@mindspring.com> wrote: I do have a few Singers. Jan Jan-Would you mind briefly describing what bikes/frames you own? You have at least one Singer, non?-I think it's the Singer I'd have a follow-up query or two about.-Joe Starck
