Hi All, I think that the first front derailers that could go to oversized are the C-Record ones. They actually have a clamp that pivots in 2 places rather then 1 and there is a set of longer pivot pieces to go around the oversized tubes. I would use one of the clamp adapter and a braze-on derailer. I seem to remember seeing early Kleins done this way.
