I have to agree with Ann. In 1974 my girlfriend and I traded our Batavus bikes in on more upscale rides. I bought a PX-10 and she a Mizutani "Super." The Super was actually more expensive than my Peugeot. She was astonished at the difference a "high" quality bike could make in ride and performance. The Super was all DB chrome moly with chrome lugs, sewup toyo tires, and full Dura Ace. Since it was a 19 inch frame, it was pretty light, and as a consequence, made her a far more serious rider.
