My understanding is that Koga was a Dutch company bought by Miyata some years ago. I think most Koga-Miyatas were built in Japan, but designed and speced for the European market. I bought a Koga-Miyata frame cheap when they were clearing out the last lugged frames in the late 90's. It's just a bit on the heavy side for a pro quality frame, but rides and looks great.

The way I understand the story is that Miyata's are built in Asia and the Koga-Miyata's in Europe. On the keepers of the frame angle Koga-Miyata made an anniversary frame a couple years back that was as clean and sexy as any other I'd seen. Anyone else see this frame, with it's great chrome lugs?
