In a message on shipping, Phil Brown made one statement which is not quite historically correct, I believe. He wrote, re shiping a bike without damage: <snip>

I keep trying to buy my friend's white, special, all Campy, factory original (I think), Cannondale from the early days. NR or SR, I forget which, but certainly pre-index. Homely, yes, but I'd let that slide under the wire and into Cirque...

But, I'm not trying to pick an argument, just making a point that Cannondale's feet are in our period, even if the materials and production methods are uncommon in our group... :-)
