I personally still go for the old-fashioned heel on the pedal, elbow to finger-tips from front of seat to stem, one to two fingers between top tube and pubic bone. But I no longer put my bars two inches below saddle height. Otherwise, I just experiment with what feels good. I'm sure the fit specialists would call me hopeless.

What interesting sizing formulas! My personal system is based completely on circumference of the head and earlobe thickness.
