Subject: [CR]axle swap and Stronglight BB question

Hey CR folk...

I need to replace the axle in my Campy record freewheel rear hub so it will accommodate a 7 speed freewheel instead of a 6. Yes I know I'm committing some sort of blasphemy here, but I'd like to ride the bike and I like the gearing combination available with that particular freewheel.

To get to 126mm spacing I need a 137mm axle. Since no one is going to look at my rear axle and say "hey! Thats not Campy," (because I'm sure they will be staring at the freewheel harumphing) I was hoping to use the less spendy Wheels Mfg model.

Will a 10x1x137mm do the trick? Is 10x1 correct? Or is 9.5x1x137?

Also, is there any way to replace the cartridge bearings on a Stronglight Competition BB? I'm not sure if its era, but it sure is french!
