>>>I stopped using the suntour freewheels when I discovered how well the Shimano twist tooth configuration shifted, despite the standard six speed spacing. Stevan Thomas<<<

I have to second Stevan here. The Shimano twist tooth freewheels made a very distinct improvement in the shifting of a Campy SR drive-train. It was definitely the hot set-up, and it's use quickly spread among most of the riders I knew. Of course, we weren't concerned with keeping everything "pure" in those days. While having a Campy equipped bike certainly held a certain cache, we still weren't afraid to mix in things that improved performance. Just another bit of Hot-Roding?
