Well, I've plunged headlong into bike restoration. I have just received a 1974'ish Bottecchia from the original owner. It does need a small amount of work.....
My question to the is,
Are there any pictures of 70's Bottecchia's, somewhere in somebody's album or ?? especially the top tube decals ?? The decals are worn enough as to not be legible, but, if compared to the original "script" decals, I could determine the model name. The owner thinks it is a Giro D'Italia, but could not be sure, that name may have been dropped and stuck in his brain.
The other block lettered decals are in pretty good shape, it also has a couple of checkered flag decals on the top tube.
Any body care to comment?
