Subject: Re: [CR]Vintage velo jersey sizing

the jerseys alex sells tend to run a bit larger than standard euro sizing for wool jerseys. im 6'1", 175 - and i can snugly (ie gut nicely displayed for all to see :) ) wear a vintage wool jersey in a 4, or comfortably in a 5. alexs jerseys fit me snug but comfortable in a 4 and a bit roomy (but still falling into the category of "it fits") in a 5

basically, he knows a good portion of his market doesnt quite cut the trim, youthful figure they used to when they were, well, younger, and has adjusted the sizing accordingly/forgivingly while not so much that theyll look baggy on those of us whose "youthful figure" is still desperately clawing for a handhold :)
