the pedal hole caps are indicative of the earlier versions of the pro 5 vis and pro 3 attaches cranks. the former were introduced in 1963, and the latter were available in 1969, probably earlier, and pedal hole caps are seen on both types, so id guess that pedal hole caps were a 1960s thing for ta, cause later cranks are missing them.

be sure to use washers behind the pedals with these cranks unless you feel like popping those caps out. dont use them, and they will.

an overview of ta chainwheel stamping is at http://www.blackbirdsf.org/ta/stamp.html

chainwheels with the earlier stamping would be pre-60s, later stamping, everything else.

as for fair pricing, that doesnt seem unreasonable in the face of what ive seen such go for. ive never paid that myself, but im also not a stickler for nos :) so id say fair pricing for nos
