In 1964 and 1965 I owned and raced two Paramount track bikes. Around 1985 I bought then sold a early to mid '70's Paramount road bike. My first observation was the bottom bracket was no longer a Nervex Pro. Then I started to notice that the workmanship wasnt as nice as the other Paramounts that I had owned. I sold the bike shortly thereafter. This in not to say the workmanship on any of those bikes were better or not as good as other bikes on the market.
