Well all, Back in N.Y.C. for a week and just catching up now. Did get to see the sun on forty mile Sunday. Snowed only 4 inches in Central Park yesterday.. I was crying. So, any way, a long over due thank you to all those who made our winter in sunny San Diego such a memorable one. Certainly the icing on the cake was Sundays farewell ride. A more generous and gracious host then Matt Gorski cannot be found. Breakfast and lunch. Matt, I think we'll let you cater the wedding! I wished I lived just around the corner so that I might just drop in whenever for cafe and to visit the "museum". And especially to shoot the shit with the boys. I couldn't a had a better time. And thanks for arraigning for the killer headwind on the return trip North. Thanks to Brian for among other things, committing my memories to cyber space so that when my capessa fails me I can refer to the written word. I might not believe what I'm reading though; are such good times possible? Well, come to Larz on April 27 and I'll prove it to ya(the day after my birthday. And no, I'm not THAT old!). And then get to Le Cirque!!! It'll take at least till October to recover. And just in time for Velo Rendezvous. You'd think some one planned it this way. Go figure. Thanks to Peter Johnson, Jay Van De Velde, Brian Ignatin, Dave Staub, Greg Fletcher, Charles Andrews, Derek Willburn (the draft was my pleasure), Andrew Gillis, Shaun (last name?),Chuck Schmidt, and Ken Wallace for make'n me feel right at home. Special thanks to Jan Johnson for back'n my ass up at the nitty gritty. That young man with the little pecker won't be so fast to try to stick it to the next bike rider. Dale's visit out west was another highlight. If ya missed Brian's recount, look it up in the archives. Thank you all for allowing me the pleasure of your company. Oh, and by the way, all the nice bikes and pretty girls helped make it an enjoyable time too. But not the hills. ciao, JohnT.Pergolizzi Manhattan, New York
