Martin Gold and I had a booth in the paved part of the infield for the riders "cabins". Attendence was down from the fall, both vendors and buyers, maybe as much as 50%. I'm not sure the weather was a factor because there was no rain and it was very nice through the mid-day. Logically the spring swap should be at least equal to the fall event, but the word is not out yet. I viewed the swap as a success, vendors were busy enough etc. Martin and I had solid sales and thanks to the CR members who stopped by to chat (and purchase).

Classic stuff was definately on the decline at the show. There was limited availability of nice bicycles and prices were high. A pristine fully pantographed Guerciotti was $1650. An OK Windsor Pro $500. I was really tight on buying. I found a 45T 151BCD chainring, probably a Merz, for $5, an early TTT stem for $5 and a set of Avocet touring cranks for $15. I passed on a set of Campagnolo 'Con Dente" track pedals at $50. Just threw back the fish for someone else!
