That shifter (Part No. 1013/1b) goes with (vis. red motif) the Cambio Gran Tursismo (AKA "GT", AKA "The Steel Beast" ;-). It appears on Page 4 of the Supplement to Catalog No. 16. And, not inappropriately, it is pictured between the GT rear derailleur and the aforementioned Elefante shifter. ----------------- Lee, you've about rained on my parade. I mean, like I have a Gran Trashmo, all 7.5# of it. Given a choice between the pure sheet metal Lambert slant parallelogram unit a buddy just gave me and the Gran Trashmo, I'd bolt on the Lambert, just because I know how bad the Trashmo is. Just darned near ruined any pleasure in riding our tandem in 1975, when I was so proud to have found one of them. Susan shifts on our tandems, and she just about cried because she couldn't hit the shifts. So I tried. One ride. It then became part of the family lore, too good a story to throw out, but too bad to pawn off on some other naive rider.

I'm gonna nail it to a board with some other bad ideas, and if it is done in time bring the collection of nightmares in steel and alloy to Cirque.
