Ann and all the rest..

I need to mention that the Cirque is getting larger and larger but with the same limited space and there will not be the option of highly elaborate displays.

The bikes or frames will be arranged by Cirque staff , each standing alone in a pre-determined pattern, with as much space to view the actual bikes as possible. Each category will be placed by Nationality and maker.. We hope to have a whole section of vintage and neo-classic makes like Baylis, Masi USA, Paramounts, Rivendells, Trek, Sachs, Witcomb USA (alphabetic order) etc., etc. Highly artistic arrangements by the owners, which are cool but space gobbling, are sadly no longer an option.

In the past, some owners have brought fairly elaborate printed sheets/mini-banners and attached them to the bikes... In my humble opinion, this is not very attractive practice, especially if most of the other bikes do not have that matching attribute. While a tiny minority of the viewers might read the sheet, it kinda overly complicates the look of the event.

For all bikes, we will supply that morning of check-in a special simple small Cirque logo tag that will identify the bike make, year of manuf. and owner, plus the number for voting purposes...

A support stand for each bike is absolutely essential. It's like going on a ride without a tube and having two flats! There is time for every attendee to obtain a support stand. PLEASE do not think you will be able to bum one in Greensboro!!!

Your LBS can get some nice varieties from Quality.. I would recommend a "centering stand" like the Person's "hook" or the axle mounted Minoura, etc., rather than kickstands or rear stay attachments. These last styles tend to contribute to the front wheel twisting and not wanting to stay straight, messing up the "view!"

But, the main thing is that we are excited about all of you coming.. Holy mackerel, this is going to be a historic weekend!
