It doesn't, and I can't seem to find anything on the web about it either. Does anyone have anymore details? Was it used for racing? thanks, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives SB, CA

rode and raced a few times on the Vandendrome while it was on "world tour" in the early 90's??? They set it up at the Del Mar, California fairgrounds for nearly a month. They charged a small fee to ride / race. It was well worth it. The turns were quite steep, by far the steepest I've ever seen in my spoiled days of riding only big dromes like dominguez hills, encino or san diego. Even at speed the corners were a bit intimidating. He he he

The track seemed quite stable and symmetric when I rode it.

I think the promoters, the vandeveldes?, took the drome around the country trying to incite track racing enthusiasm.

It seems that even at 50k needing repairs, that it's not such a bad deal $$$$$$$$
