Sheldon,

What a fine ride. I have a pair of Raleigh Gran Sport (White and Blue Ones form 72 or so) with similar Sturmey 7 speed setups that get quite a bit of daily riding (and an occasional century).

I must say I have a new Brooks saddle bag with the QR on the saddle and it is grand. The inside word is Brooks may be one day produce luggage again and I hope they use this pattern.

Now those North Road handlebars are respectable and fine like they are to go to school during the week and to church on Sunday but just you remember to flip them over for weekend tear ups with your mates.

Yours in Cycling,

Gilbert Anderson

I've just put up some info on my 1976 Raleigh Competition, which I have made into an interpretation of what the Sports and Superbe might have evolved into...
