Hi all, I don't know wether or not you are aware, but with grease it is the oil that lubricates, and the soap base is what holds the oil in suspension, modern lithium based greases are good against water, modern greases also are known as what is called complex greases instead of soap greases, that is at least down under, when Ampol of Australia made its grease factory a few years ago, it was the most modern in the southern hemisphere, and made a lot of the grease in Australisa, and packaged it under different oil companies packaging.......regards wayne davidson Invercargill NZ......
