When will the maturity of Japans bicycle industry be recognized to warrant this respect? Some of the Japanese builders and manufacturing have been at it longer than our vaunted American builders. And they are still in business. I think they have paid their dues at this point- their manufacturing base has largly been exported to China leaving only boutique makers who know what they are doing.
