I've enjoyed reading the posts on this topic.

It never would have occurred to me to own a bike that was not my size. I like to ride what I own. I'll probably never change in that regard. However, I can understand why others would want to collect all types and sizes of bikes, just to look at them.

Most of the people in a group that I occasionally ride with are not collectors and wouldn't know a classic bike if they saw one. Bikes to these people are simply tools, I think. They just want to be fit and ride as fast as they can. There's nothing wrong with that but like most of you, I'm a little different. I love the sensation of riding a bike and I love the equipment itself.
