i'd guess he began building in 57 but didn't make tommasini frames til way later. i think he was an early masi builder cuz when i was there he was showing me pics of gimondi and merckx and talking 'bout how he built the frames...but those frame were clearly masi- esque in every detail. late 60s era, etcetera. his mentor, giussepppppppppe pela was a masi builder so the lineage makes sense to me. i've been to many shops. tommasini's is the bitchin'-est. e-RICHIE chester, ct
