Don't feel bad Lou. You just put into words what I feel about my modest collection of bikes. I have preferred to think of some of them as an eclectic mix of parts albeit period correct parts. I don't know if I would have the courage to display my bikes along side the magnificent rides at the Cirque. How the heck could anyone compare their shops to the one Dale has? Mine could never be compared to his. Just the same I prize my collection. I brought home an older Gitane tandem ( my first ever) and as I was unloading it, my neighbor asked how many bikes I have now. I had to actually think before I answered him. Then he asked if I was going to sell any of them ?!? Sell? What's the point of collecting? I ride them all, but not sure I'd want to at the Cirque. Next year I'm going to be there for sure. Just not with any of my bikes.
