Dear Mr Petry In my opinion you are doing Cinelli owners a grave disservice by purporting to maintain a "Worldwide Cinelli Registry" Based on my experience of having sent you the information on my 1972 Cinelli three times since last November and finding that it still is not entered in the registry, I conclude that you are either unwilling or unable to maintain the registry adequately.

I now wonder if there are other owners out there who assume that the registry is still active and have sent information to you that you have likewise chosen to ignore.

I have recently come across two other Cinellis that do not appear in the register and I could not, in good faith, recommend to the owners that they register their bikes, as I feel sure, based on my own experience that, even if they go to the trouble of sending you the information, it will simply be ignored. Next month I will be in UK and will be riding in at least one Veteran Bike Club road race. There will certainly be several Cinellis there and I had looked at this as a wonderful opportunity to solicit more data for the register. It is very disappointing that this would now appear to be a waste of time.

Could I suggest that you find someone else to take over the registry before it becomes completely valueless. In the meantime, since the registry is defunct, please do not include my Cinelli in the Registry

Sincerely
Roger Coombes
