Off the top of my head, the The short reach ('modern' dual pivot and single pivot) brakes have a range of 39-49mm of brake pad adjustment form the mounting bolt. Long reach brakes have a range of 47-57mm of brake pad adjustment from the mounting bolt.

I have no info on Center pull brakes.

Tom Martin why do I have info like this off the top of my head?
