I stand corrected. My mistake. Laughing too hard must have reduced the amount of oxygen getting to my brain. They were indeed artichokes. Whew. I feel much better now. Apologies to our hostess, but all those green things look/sound/taste the same to me. But I bet in just a few seconds on google I could find Artichoke-land too, somewhere in sunny CA no doubt. But I have things to do, places to go, people to see. Gotta see a man about a bike. Nurse, hurry please, another transfusion. I'm almost out of kiwi-mango-lime slurpee!!
