Hi Ann and CR list, I too would love to get a color copy of the article..... Sam Braxton of Missoula Montana's Braxton Bike Shop has "moved on" to the framebuilder's home in the sky. Sam Braxton died at least 10 years ago. I spoke with his wife after his death. Sam Braxton's bicycles seemed to be have been "a local phenomenom". I met several people at his shop that had custom made Braxton bicycles. I was at his shop in 1988 and still have the Braxton Bike Shop decals on a set of heavy duty touring wheels he built for my bicycle. Sam was also very active with BIKECENTENNIAL (now Adventure Cycling) headquartered in Missoula,Montana. I don't know if the shop is still in business. It continued a few years after his death.
