Curt's info seems correct. I went out to see Glenn about 5-6 years ago to order a pair of bikes and ended up spending about four days in and out of Glenn's shop. During a ride, Glenn did say that Angel never built frames at R&E, along with the same info about the Erickson name on all singles and the Rodriquez name on the tandems. For what it's worth, Angel is now on the board of directors at REI, the large retailer based in Seattle. And Glenn is still building beautiful frames, as well as running his cycle tour business. He basically builds from mid-October thru late June, then departs for Europe to lead cycle tours for 3 1/2 months. Not bad, eh?

I did work there but not during that time. That seems accurate from what Glenn Erickson told me. I think the line about Angel hanging out with Alex Singer is a bunch of B.S. Mark Bulgier was there in the early years and has told me some funny stories about his tenure there.
