You can buy some of the bottles and cages at LBS's right now. Elite makes the bottles and cages for TdF riders and they are making the retro bottles too. Too bad they did not make a handlebar mounted version like they initally planned.

> The Tour de France is amping up the retro items at their swag shop for this years TdF. Some of the stuff will compliment a vintage bike quite nicely. While in Paris in February I saw everything at the start of the selection process. It was interesting and there was quite a variety. At the time I figured there was no way they would actually attempt to sell some of the more hardcore retro stuff. Wrong. Today I received an email from a friend at the TdF offices that outlines the final picks. Metal water bottles with cork tops held by a natural fiber cord aka 1948, 1920's - 30's - 40 & 50's style jerseys with various collar styles (including tennis collars), 1950's style wool knickers, the list goes on. If the TdF used the same vendors whose product I saw in February, the quality is first rate.
