I do believe that back in the day Victor was Mike Hiltner of CA. Now if this is the case I do believe I purchased a Cinelli road bike from him at the 1964 National Track Championships in Flushing Meadows, NY. The bike had a yellow stick paint job, no decals and a Paramount track fork. I sold that bike to Carl Leusincamp SP? when I went in the service in 1966. The last time I saw Carl, about a year or so before his passing, he told me that he still had the bike. I meant to get in touch with Rita and see if I could purchase it, but never did. So anyone out in the AR area that ever sees a bike like that you will know the history.

I did a quick web search and it appears that he now rides a mountain bike, but I found his road exploits very inspiring back when I was toothing on a bivalent hub shell.

Idle thoughts of an idle fellow.
