I believe we all have a special memory of Chris' participation on the CR list. My own memories are the frequent off-list notes we exchanged regarding classic cars. Although he wasn't far away, I never did make it up to meet him in person.
I would like to suggest that somebody who knew Chris and his wife (personally I didn't know he was married, nor ever meet him in the flesh) collect all of the messages posted to the list and make sure his loved ones realize how special he was.
