I remember Ad of Empella a ( Dutch house brand! ). A brand which some of the current U.S Cyclo cross crowd is familiar with, Ads Empella ( Bonfire! ) cyclo cross framesets! Anyway he was working for Benotto here in Holland and they had set up shop here to assemble Benotto bicycles, they were set up for about 4800 units! Show time came, new graphics for that model year and ''BANG!'' They pre booked over 7500 bicycles! He said they were in trouble!......OME!?!?!?!........Down the tubes, they had to use what ever they were able to get!
