Hey Zeus fans and others!...........You read it right!
We have some Zeus 30 hole, 6 speed HF hubsets........French thread. Was said to be the ''HOT DEAL!'' of Southern France of which I am told was a specialty of the late master wheel builder HR Borthavre. You can get a taste by checking out Zeus page on the CR site. To some a weird deal but definitely something different...............Hubs there shows custom 60 hole hubs. The hubsets we have are normal 30 hole drilling. And we have the rims as well, Martano Tipo Corso with polished finish or Mavic Record Du Monde De L 'Heure, anodized gold, or a bronze type of finish.
Here's the deal 1 pair of hubs and your choice of 1 pair of the rim offerings. $ 150.- for the set, extra pair of rims $ 15.-. QRs on the hubsets are flat with cone shaped nuts..................Only 2 pairs are being made available for this offering. These hubsets will not be offered for sale on the site. We are holding them over for some of the Zeus framesets of we which we are hoping to build up as complete Zeus bicycles...........When opening shop in the SB aera we are hoping to floor retro riggs and these will be some of the offerings........So to say we are not in a big hurry to move these hubsets......But I thought I'd give the list a chance first. Now for the spoke sizes, I'm hoping to have this info in a few days or so.
BTW: In the past they was a CR post mentioning a current production of a HF hub offering! Anybody remember these hubsets and would anybody have info on them...................I'll be looking for 30 hole rear hubs and hoping that this may be the ticket for our needs............We have ''TONs!'' of front hubs but I'm in need of rears!...............................And we have loads and loads of rims and we would like to put them to good use.
