To each their own, but I know many other builders who think front-center measurement is quite important. It's not just toe clip overlap, it's also the basis for weight distribution on the bike. If you talk with biomechanical engineers where the majority of body mass falls in relation to the front-center is what it's all about. On the surface it may be all about toe-clip overlap, but crank length and toe-clip length are just as important.
