Subject: [CR]Assenmacher Tandem pics

I've got a few pics of the new (to me) Assenmacher tandem posted, including some shots of the distinctive square keel tube. Sheldon's advice (on the web) is to dump the dual cable Mafac brake lever and run the rear drum as a drag brake off a barcon. Anyone got a set of Mafac levers, or a single with full gum hood and drilled lever? I've gotten some great advice from many sources, and I look forward to putting her on the road as soon as Christine gets here, in two weeks or so. Look at the relative positions, you can tell what a well matched couple we are. (I will be raising the seat a few inches for the Boss.) As before, go to the below link, and click on the Assenmacher folder. Gee, I just like saying it: Assenmacher, Assenmacher, Assenmacher--. Sounds like a freight train coming.
