i mostly see reference to campy parts on this board. when did shimano enter the racing arena and would have been found on nicer racing bikes? has Dura Ace always been a top component group? how does the shimano 600 arabesque fit in all this? and why did they stop the stylized look of those? i think those were some of the coolest looking parts.
i'm currently cleaning up a Ruegger Spezial and that's the mix it came with. What other bikes of the era would have a mix like this?

PS - anyone know anything about Ruegger bikes? still haven't found anything about them yet. would appreciate any info on these.
