Tom, I rode to work today on a pair of the Campy BMX cranks. Mine are gold, but I have seen picture of blue ones as well. Rumors of red, but I haven't seen a red pair. Except for the color, they look identical to the Campy track (pista) cranks from ~1980. Designed for one ring (144mm BCD), same as track, but mine are marked strada on the back instead of pista. Mine are 170mm but I've seen 175's for sale on e-bay as well.

They made matching gold colored (track width) chainrings for these as well, but the only sizes I have seen in the gold color are 42, 43, 44, & 45 tooth - although of course the cranks could be used with any 144mm bcd chainrings.

Any info on the Campagnolo BMX group, specifically the crankset? What crank length, colors did they come in? Did it come with a BBset? what type- for American BBsets or 'euro' BBsets? BB threading? Are chainrings readily available? What is the bolt circle dia? What is the street price for a good condition but used set without BBset? Are there any quirks I should be looking at, like cracks at the spider or taper?
