I have very mixed feelings about all this. On one hand I'd love my 85 Trek 670 (stock with N. Record) to be on topic. On the other hand 1985 saw trek venture into adhesive bonded aluminum frames and robotic assembly, clearly not CR stuff. I don't think we can have a hard and fast line in the sand. If so we need to stop discussion of keepers of the flame (sorry e-richie, Kurt, Peter, Brian et. al.)its either all or none. for my $.02 worth I'd say 1987 as a cut off date which according to our own Chuck Schmidt was the last year for production of Super Record components.
