Today marked the opening of the 100th anniversary exhibition of the TdF at Paris City Hall. The exhibition will be open through the middle of August and may be extended through the first of September. I was told the opening today had more than 2,000 people.
The show is heavy on historical images and stories about the various editions of the TdF. In addition to the photos, there are a fair number of objects on display including significant bikes, trophies, jerseys, etc. from 1903 through the present with a notable emphasis pre-1976.
I anticipate I will have images from the show in the next day or so and would be happy to forward them to anyone interested in seeing them. Please respond to me off-list if you would like the images forwarded to you.
