I've got a set of Avocet sealed bearing hubs, 120mm OLD. They use an unusual axle, threaded on the ends and unthreaded in the middle, that has two sections of larger diameter for the sealed bearings. Can anyone point me at a replacement axle so I can repurpose this wheelset for 126mm spacing? There's not enough axle left if I just add the appropriate spacers.
Any pointers are welcome. I know there are some impressive parts collections out there in CR land, so I thought I'd ask here first. I suspect Larry Black's parts warehouse, and a few others, might resemble the last scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark :)
