Chris, it is my understanding that the Service Course-badged TdFs were the TdF with Campy hubs/upgraded wheels, but still with all the Stronglight, Mafac, Simplex. The Interclub was the same as the base model, but with tubulars (Mavic Montherly) instead of the Rigida steel knurled sidewalls clincher wheels. I actually really coveted the metallic red TdF, but bought a less expensive Follis instead in those student days.
