Darn! Two friends in less than two weeks : Barry Wolf and Dave Staub. Both looked in great health the last time I saw them. I bumped into Dave at Interbike last fall and he looked great. Dave was a great guy. Twenty five years ago we were in a race together and during the final sprint, he was forced off the course and hit a street lamp. I could have been the blame but you can never tell in a sprint. He never held it against me and we were always friendly.
