The more obscure builders were the most desirable to get the latest and fastest that no one else had.

Welcome to the list Greg. I love hearing stories about obscure builders. There's got to be so many over the years but due to various reasons their work is lost and forgotten. The history of these small builders is as much or more interesting than that of the big builders like Bianchi, Raleigh, Colnago, etc. If you have more info about other builders that you hung out with, please share it.

I wonder if this was Richard Sachs, Peter Weigle, Ben Serrotta, Chris Chance or somebody else?
